What We Offer
"Let the little children come to me”
Welcome to Mason First United Methodist Children's Programming!
We love to see the smiling faces of all children in our church.

Children’s Programs DURING Worship:
(newborns to 3-years-old) An infant and toddler nursery is located near the Main Foyer. Jean Bement is in charge of this area and is trained in CPR. Jean and her helpers care for the youngest members of our church family. The nursery is available during worship and during the Sunday School hour (11am - noon).
CHILDREN’S CHAPEL: (September-May)
(4-years-old through 2nd grade) Immediately following the Children’s Sermon, the children are released to the lower level of the church where they attend Children’s Chapel. The children are encouraged to worship, wonder, and meet God and Jesus in their own way. There are several storytellers who teach a different story from the Bible each week and a coordinating craft or activity usually follows. Parents must pick up their children downstairs following worship.
BIBLE ZONE: (September-May)
(3rd through 5th grade) Bible Zone also follows the Children’s Sermon, but meets in the Youth Room downstairs. This is a chance for the older children to discuss how Christianity fits into their daily lives. We use a variety of curriculum to meet the needs of our older elemantary kids. Please pick up your children in the Youth room following worship.
Sunday School (11am - noon) (September-May)
The Gospel Project : All the children start class together in the downstairs Sunday School room where we will sing together, pray together, and learn about our weekly Bible story. The children are then broken up into two smaller groups: Preschool through 1st graders will go to the Christian Child Care center to learn more about the story through play. Children in this age group may be picked up there. The older children, 2nd through 5th graders, will stay in the Sunday School room to delve deeper into the story through reading, activities and creativity.
OFFERING: We encourage you to send a small offering with your children to Sunday School. As a group, our Sunday School classes have adopted a child through World Vision. All offerings go to support this mission.
